Man tries to wing $72,000 at airport passengers

Here’s a tip: Next time you’re flying drunk, try to keep your wallet in the locked position.
A British man arrived bleary eyed and pound foolish at an airport in Spain on Wednesday and stared handing out euros and travelers checks like they were going out of style — 52,000 euros, in fact. That’s some major coin: $72,285. It seems that the deep-pocketed tourist had just received an inheritance.
At least this man with the cash was having fun — witnesses noted that he was laughing. He was identified as James B.N., 59, of Manchester, England. No word on whether the “B” stands for bill, or bullion.
Police stopped the walking bank after they decided he didn’t have his full senses — or, to coin a term, cents-es. Then they helped him get on a plane home.
You can bet your bottom dollar there were some happy passengers on that flight. Hope his money bags made it on the right plane.
