I consider it a Hollywood miracle that the movie series has turned out so well. Not all the installments have been perfect, but they have all been enjoyable and at their best manage to capture some of Rowling's magic. Very few single book adaptations manage to do that once, let alone six times (with hopefully two more masterpieces to go). I thank the casting directors for hitting the lottery three times over in the casting of Harry, Ron and Hermione and the faculty of award-wining British stars who've taken to their supporting roles with gusto.
