Nuggets to swap Weems, Sharpe to Bucks for Allen

The Nuggets have had high hopes for Sonny Weems, who the Bulls draft in the second round in 2008 and later traded to the Nuggets. But they’ve given up on Weems and sent him and Walter Sharpe, who the team acquired from Detroit last week along with Arron Afflalo, to the Milwaukee Bucks for Malik Allen.
Chris Tomasson reported for the RMI that the Nuggets seem content to rely on small moves like this one this summer as the rest of the West makes headlines with big signings.
