Shot in the dark leads to cool space silhouette

A very cool photo of the International Space Station silhouetted as it crosses the sun is making its rounds on the Internet.
Look closely, and you can see the space shuttle Endeavour docked at the station, as well as its robotic arm.
Astrophotographer Thierry Legault captured the shot July 26 in France with a telescope and digital camera, made all the more noteworthy when you realize that he couldn’t see the image with his naked eye. Instead, he finds out when the space station is expected to transit the sun, clicks the camera and then hopes for gold when he downloads the images for viewing.
The length of the transit? 0.8 seconds.
