For the first time in two weeks, Josh Fogg is a relief pitcher rather than a potential relief pitcher. Fogg, who hadn’t seen seen action in two weeks, pitched the final two-thirds of the seventh inning in the series finale against the Washington Nationals. Fogg entered with the bases loaded and allowed all three runs to score on a single and a sacrifice fly. But as the Rockies were up 8-0 at the time, it didn’t matter much. Because none of the runners who scored were Fogg’s, his ERA dropped to 1.96 with the two outs he recorded.
