Broncos to try blinding us with fashion

More journal entries from Steve Foster »
Some Denver Broncos fans are worried about this season. New coach, new quarterback, unsettled offense, remade defense . . . it’s enough to make a fan not want to watch until the scary part is over.
Maybe it won’t be so bad. But the Broncos at least have come up with a valid excuse to avert your eyes from the field. As Broncos media guru Jim Saccomano writes in his blog, the Broncos will not only bring back the infamous yellow and brown jerseys from its inaugural season, but also will wear their bright orange uniforms twice this season.
On the bright side, when the Broncos wear their 1960 uniforms on Oct. 11, the Patriots will be decked out in the jerseys of the old Boston Patriots and, thus, will look nearly as bad as the Broncos.
