Broncos’ Torain injured again, waived

Denver Broncos running back Ryan Torain, who missed the first part of his 2008 rookie year with a dislocated elbow and the last part of the season with a torn ACL, was diagnosed with a strained knee ligament Wednesday. The Denver Post reports that Torain was placed on the waived injured list, which means Torain is effectively done with the team.

The Broncos added running back Marcus Thomas — not to be confused with current Bronco defensive lineman Marcus Thomas — to take Torain’s place on the roster.
