The Bureau of Land Management has brought in nearly $154,000 in its first online auction of oil and gas leases, for which Colorado was chosen as the testing ground, the Denver Business Journal reports.

The agency sold 19 parcels, totaling more than 7,500 acres, in the areas covered by its Royal Gorge, Little Snake and White River field offices. The state will receive nearly half of the proceeds from the sale, which ran from Sept. 9 through Thursday.
