More Denver CFOs see staff cuts ahead
The number of Denver-area chief financial officers who expect to cut staff appears to be on the rise as the fourth quarter approaches, a survey shows.
Some 11 percent of CFOs expect to make cuts in accounting and financial staff in the fourth quarter, up from 7 percent who expected to reduce staff three months ago. Most of the rest expect staffing at their companies to remain flat, according to national figures released by Robert Half International. That’s not exactly good news for the hard-hit local economy.
