Goodbye, from the RMI . . .

In July 2009, we launched the Rocky Mountain Independent in an experiment pulling together the work of independent journalists committed to providing another editorial voice in a city with more stories to be told than reporters to tell them. Our experiment is over, and we would like to thank all of you who became members of the Web site to support us. We have put everything we made into producing content and supporting our independent partners, but we can no longer afford to produce enough content to justify the membership. We will be issuing refunds in accordance with our refund policy, and members should receive their check within two weeks of issuance. Thank you again for your support, and please continue to support the members of the RMI network:
